Festival Platform - Culture-2014

The Festival Culture-2014 will be held this year within August 15th till September 8th with the main event scheduled on August 31st. This is the second year when several festivals consolidate under the same umbrella. Such consolidation brought results both in the daily activities throughout the year and in the implementation of the goals set forth for the festivals by the culture platform. This year, the Festival platform will consolidate 4 residents (full-scale festivals) as well as more than 30 partner platforms presenting their festivals, infrastructural elements of culture industry (cultural centers, art schools, youth centers, etc.) Cluster infrastructures allow the organizers to decrease their transaction costs, extend the scope of activities, and audience coverage, and create conditions for advanced versatility and augmentability.
This project became one of the elements of the structure established in Togliatti for creation of pre-conditions for the cluster development of creative spheres. The festival platform will provide space for other cities and towns of Samara region, i.e. Samara and Oktyabrsk. Moreover, the negotiations are held with some other regional cities. One of the principal goals of establishment of the festival platform is to form the positive brand of Togliatti as the area for comfort living and recreation. At the same area, same time, the culture of the city of Togliatti will be presented in vivid colors.
