Traditional winter festival Zhiguli Sea-018 in Togliatti

For 12 years in February, the water area ofKuibyshev Reservoir, aslo known as the Zhiguli Sea is dotted with dozens of bright sails of participants of the snowkiting competition. Recent year the Festival Zhiguli Sea-017 gathered more than 200 athletes and 7,000 spectators. It is also went down in history as the world record for the most mass start among snowkiters.

From February 20, 2018 in the water area of the Kuibyshev reservoir will be the 4th stage of the Cup of Russia for snowkiting Marathon "Zhigulevskoe Sea-018", and the sports program will be completed on February 24 winter festival of outdoor activities.
