In 2020/21, after an eight-year break, a large-scale project, the Year of Germany, will be implemented in Russia, which should become a source of new useful impulses for Russian-German relations in various spheres of life.

In 2021, as part of the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of friendship between the cities of Togliatti and Wolfsburg (Germany), a number of events are planned within the framework of inter-municipal and humanitarian cooperation, as a part of the Year of Germany in Russia.
