Residents of the SEZ "Togliatti" invested more than 20 billion rubles in their projects

Dmitry Bogdanov, Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Samara Region, presented the results of the development of the region's flagship investment site, the Togliatti Special Economic Zone.

According to the head of the regional Ministry of Economic Development, for the entire period of operation, residents of the SEZ have invested 20.5 billion rubles and created 2,159 jobs.
In December, the Togliatti SEZ was marked at the federal level as a site with the most developed infrastructure. We see the demand among the regions for the implementation of the mechanism for restructuring budget loans to develop the infrastructure of the SEZ. Due to this support tool, the regions can use the funds released after the restructuring of budget loans to build infrastructure for new projects, and then write off debt on budget loans at the expense of taxes from these projects, said Dmitry Vakhrukov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia.

The active development of the investment and business climate in the Samara Region, the leading investment sites, the creation of conditions for the stable operation of business are the key tasks in the work of the Regional Government and Governor Dmitry Azarov.
In 2022, the volume of investments of SEZ residents amounted to 1.5 billion rubles, 231 jobs were created at enterprises. According to forecasts, by the end of 2025, the number of residents of the site will reach 41, the volume of investments - 45 billion rubles, and the number of jobs created will reach 3.8 thousand.
Targeted work on the development of the Togliatti SEZ allows it to occupy positions in the TOP of the most attractive sites for investors in Russia from year to year. The investment platform is one of the three best special economic zones of industrial production type in the country, and is also the leader in terms of the dynamics of the number of jobs created, Dmitry Bogdanov said. - According to the results of the V National rating of investment attractiveness of special economic zones, the Togliatti SEZ entered the TOP of the most attractive sites for investors in Russia. Analytical Center "Expert" also awarded the highest rating to the investment potential of the SEZ "Togliatti".
Along with the current measures of state support for investors, a new impetus to the development of the special economic zone was given by the transport and logistics opportunities created here: a railway line to the borders of the SEZ, the renovated Togliatti-Yagodnoye highway, as well as the bridge under construction across the Volga and the highway, which will become part of the international transport Corridor "Europe - Western China".
Today, 14 production facilities in the SEZ have already been put into operation. There are 31 companies that are residents of the site, three of which entered the region in 2022. They plan to implement projects here for the construction of a small-tonnage complex for the production of liquefied natural gas, a service metal center and a plant for the heat treatment of metal products.
